Adam Gross - owner / creator / curator
With over a decade of experience in the art world, Adam Gross founded GrossArt
with a clear vision of how artists and the public could (and should) interact.
While the primary focus of his business has been advising private and corporate
clients on building and deaccessioning their collections, he has also lent his
business acumen to projects directing major production, marketing, and business
development efforts (working with a diverse range of entities - from the Vatican
to more regional corporations and other companies). Prior to this, Adam worked
with the eBay subsidiary Butterfields (Los Angeles) developing and managing their
activities on eBay's high-end auction site (ebaypremier.com) as well as several
partnerships with media companies (the History Channel and HGTV, amongst others). While at
eBay/Butterfields, he also created and managed semi-annual fine art auctions while acting in
the capacity of the Director of Modern and Contemporary Art.
Prior to attending UCLA's Master's Program in Art History, Adam
was Director of the Kantor Gallery in Los Angeles. As he received
a BA degree from UCLA in both Art History and International
Economics, the years prior to finding his way to the art world
were spent working in Finance, and living and working in Europe
and New York. A native of Los Angeles, Adam again finds himself
calling this city his home with his wife of five years and his
three year old son, Jackson.
